Hello my friends, I've had a long break, but I'm back! It was not my intention to be away for the whole summer but health issues have slowed me down. Enough about that for now. Lets get on with my mini fall tour.
I love whites and neutrals but this year I wanted to add a little color. Although my palette is still pretty neutral its not all white. I added gray, taupe and pops of copper and turquoise vases. The pretty pillow in my wing chair is a design by the amazing talent Lucy of Craftberrybush.

Hello friends, remember me? I'm popping in after my summer blogging hiatus to share a little news. I was contacted several months ago about having one of my projects featured in the 2015 issue of Better Homes and Gardens Holiday Crafts Magazine. At first I thought I was being punked, but after corresponding with the editors I realized it was true. A magazine wanted to publish one of my crafts! say what!! I'm beyond flattered and still a little shocked.
The project they wanted to feature was a Christmas candle trio that I did about three years ago. If you would like to see the original post click here. This is the original project

A while ago I decided to use a few of my decorating books as decorative elements on my coffee table. It keeps my books handy and adds a little color to my room. I can reach for a book and browse through it without having to dig one out of a box. I didn't do a lot, just some new pillows and a springtime vignette on the coffee table and end table

I've been in a time warp of sorts, between multiple Drs. appointments, medical test and just plain feeling crappy Easter has sort of crept up on me. I cant believe it's only a week away. I decided to put together a Easter table setting before I missed it all together.
I decided to use pink, blue and white with touches of silver. I love pretty pastel colors, especially for Eater.
