Hello friends! I've been having a great time viewing all of the wonderful Christmas home tours. It's been a struggle this year getting my home done, but I managed to do a little something.
.
I wanted to use black, white and silver with a touch of blush. For the black and white I used this cute deer head ribbon and for the blush I painted a few wooden ornaments and added the prettiest blush frosted hydrangeas from Michaels. I placed the tree in a galvanized tub and surrounded it with pretty packages and a deer to watch over everything..
Here are a couple of detail shots of the tree,
I placed a few pretty packages on the floor under the tree and placed greenery and pine cones in a crate, along with the ubiquitous Target dollar spot skis.
I carried the black and white thru the living room by adding in black and white windowpane check pillows and I just wrapped some faux fur around my white pillows and hung a snowball garland across the window, to which I added mercury glass ornaments.
I draped garland around my Chandelier like usual, but this year I didn't add snowflakes, I put a few crystals on the branches but they really don't show up in the pics.
Please forgive my random silver chandy arm, I was trying out a new color lol,
I made two faux fur wreaths by cutting strips of fur and wrapping it around a wreath form.
I created cute woodland scenes under glass for the table centerpiece and made a runner from the same window pane fabric that I used for the pillows and throw on the wing chair
Well I think that does it folks! thanks for stopping by. I'll be joining these fun link ups this week,

Love your black and white theme, the blush hydrangeas are the perfect touch. But, the woodland terrarium is my favorite. Best ~ Mickie.

ReplyDeleteKaren, you decorated your house so beautifully for the holidays. I love your color scheme. Black and white is so classic. I've seen a lot of blush used lately. It's such a soft, feminine color.
ReplyDeleteThis Christmas décor is just adorable. I love the simplicity. I also attended such a decent Christmas Eve party at some domestic party venue New York. I also shared most of party pictures on my weblog. You can see pictures from there.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is too informative. Keep sharing your post in future too.
