Is it a foyer or a vestibule? anyhoo it's the little space you first walk into in my house. It was drab and dark and needed a new look. So I painted it.
In my last post it looked like this
I had scrubbed the dark brown 70's paneling and put on one coat of primer. I added a second coat of primer and then painted everything from floor to ceiling.
I painted the drab brown floor tiles in French Gray by Glidden, after a thorough scrubbing, I added two coats of primer followed by two coats of paint and three coats of poly. The walls and doors are painted Misty Gray by Benjamin Moore and the trim is Distant Gray also by B. Moore. I still have some finishing to do. I'm going to paper the ceiling, hang the new light fixture and change the doorknobs. I also have to clean up the edges on the trim around the floor. Since my last post we finished painting the living room, dining room and f/v. My kids and hubby all pitched in. We also hung new curtains and rods.
My house is wrecked because my husband is working on the bathroom redo and stuff is everywhere.I'll give you a little sneak peak of the progress in there real soon. It's turning out great! Once the f/v is all fluffed and pretty I'll give you an update. Were as busy as beavers around here. Thanks for stopping by. Joining these fun linkups this week,
